PUREFLEX combines the revolutionary thermal insulation properties of aerogel with the versatile material properties of PUR. Thanks to the miniscule air pores in the aerogel, the transfer of energy by air molecules is largely prevented. Silicate aerogels are ageing-resistant, temperature-stable and mineral. Polyurethane foam also has exceptional thermal insulation and soundproofing properties and a high resistance to ageing. PUR is also easy to process, flexible and yet dimensionally stable. PUR and aerogel thus form the perfect symbiosis for the innovative thermal insulation material PUREFLEX.
