PUREFLEX combines highest requirements for thermal insulation properties λ = 0.016 W/(mK) with the most flexible and easy processability possible. This makes PUREFLEX the ideal thermal insulation material wherever space is limited or complex shapes need to be insulated. PUREFLEX is open to diffusion, hydrophobic, flame retardant and resistant to ageing.

PERFECT THERMAL INSULATION

Thanks to the aerogel-filled pores of the PUR foam, PUREFLEX has the best possible thermal insulation properties. These are two to three times better than with conventional insulation materials such as EPS or mineral fibre. Unlike gas-filled PU thermal insulation materials or vacuum insulation materials (VIP), aerogels do not lose their insulating properties over time.

Whether as a plastered façade, in timber construction, in the transportation sector or in building services and industrial applications: PUREFLEX can be used wherever as little space as possible is to be lost through thermal insulation or where thermal bridges are present. Thanks to the flexible material properties, even curves and complex shapes can be insulated without any issues.

HIGH INSULATION VALUES

PUREFLEX has a thermal conductivityvalue of λ = 0.016, which is independent of ageing. While other thermal insulation materials lose their good thermal insulation properties under pressure, this is not the case with PUREFLEX. PUREFLEX can be cut and mechanically fixed without affecting the thermal insulation properties.

EASY PROCESSING

PUREFLEX can be bent around the smallest radii and does not lose its thermal insulation properties even under high pressure loads. PUREFLEX can be cut, milled and punched with a wide range of tools. The smooth and dust-reduced surface makes it easy to glue and mechanically fasten.
